Golf like Life or Life like Golf?

So I had a life experience recently and while my dad told me that I’m an athlete and I should know how to get back in the game and forget about my mistake I thought that even though I get back in the game and forget the mistake I’ve made, it still has an overall effect on the outcome of my game/life. I remember my last tournament in Davao City where I shot a -4 score to win the tournament by a stroke and realized that if I hadn’t made that bogey on the 17th hole I’d be 2 strokes safe, rather than making a -5 score it was a shot worse. So all I thought of after my recent experience was that even if I forget that stupid bogey it will still affect the outcome of the game and it scares me to think that I might lose. Making mistakes hasn’t been my favorite thing since I was 5 or something, I’d remember getting shouted at for a little mistake and I got scared that if it was a bigger mistake I’d get a super spanking time. So I avoided doing things and making decisions while I grew up so it was kinda hard for me, just from choosing a place to eat in a mall or something, I’d get scared that they would get mad or something because I chose that place. I’d always let my parents or friends choose the place to eat or the place to have fun and whatnot. Good hing that I played golf where I learned to forget my mistake and move on, but later realized that if I hadn’t made that mistake I would have gotten a better score. Bogeys are easy to make while birdies are not, and sometimes I’d like to think that eagles are big breaks. So I thought that I should just keep making pars all the way and get aggressive when the easy holes came, but gambles are also a part of the game and it’s risky that’s why it’s a gamble ain’t it? Either you go up or down depends on how well you do the shot, and a golf shot is not as easy as it looks. So I guess that mistakes aren’t that bad but it’s hard to make stuff to cancel out that mistake and get back on par. No wonder I should play it hole-by-hole rather than thinking ahead.
